Swift River is an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC) subsidiary and U.S. SBA 8(a) certified Small Disadvantaged Business. We provide environmental permitting assistance, site characterization, compliance, monitoring, reporting, engineering design, construction QC, and remediation support services to a broad spectrum of Clients. Our corporate office is in Anchorage, Alaska and our primary operations office is in Denver, Colorado. We also maintain satellite offices near Sacramento, California and Seattle, Washington.
Swift River was formed in 2014 with a highly qualified and capable staff. Our senior team members provide the benefits of many years of professional environmental science and engineering consulting experience to our Clients. Swift River senior staff members have worked together for many years to collaborate and provide technical services to commercial, industrial, and governmental Clients.
Swift River works as a partner with our Clients to maximize project efficiencies and to incorporate Client philosophies and concepts into final cost-effective solutions and work products. We offer our Clients extensive knowledge of site investigation field methods, hydrogeologic characterization, and numerical modeling; RCRA Subtitle C and D, CERCLA, and low-level radioactive waste regulatory compliance; remedial design and implementation; monitoring program development and implementation, data analysis, and reporting; mine and processing facility permitting support; landfill cell and final cover design and permitting; regulatory agency interaction; and public outreach. Swift River also works with our sister civil construction subsidiary, Suulutaaq, Inc., to provide restoration services for stream channels, wildlife habitat, integrated ecosystems, and other environmentally sensitive areas. We have the capability to self-perform many facets of a project and have access to a wide range of technical disciplines through Partner firms to provide turn-key and design/build projects.
